Maple Cinnamon Baked Sweet Potato Fries

A deliciously sweet, melt-in-your-mouth healthy sweet potato fries recipe the whole family will love.

  • 1 large sweet potato
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup


  • Preheat your oven to 180°C/350°F. Prepare a baking tray with a layer of baking paper.
  • Peel your sweet potato, then cut into chunky fries. Throw them in a bowl. Drizzle olive oil over the top and toss to coat.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon and drizzle maple syrup over fries. Toss again to coat.
  • Lay fries in a single layer on the baking tray. Bake in preheated oven for approximately 25 minutes. Flip fries over and continue to bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until tender.°


For a crispier texture, sweet potato fries can also be cooked using an air fryer. Simply layer in a single layer in your air fryer basket and cook at 180C/350F for 10 minutes. Flip fries, then cook for a further 5-10 minutes until tender and slightly crispy.
